"Youth helps" - What does that mean?

„Youth helps“ is a nationwide programme for SV adolescents to help underprivileged teenagers outside our association.

Our adolescents raise funds at different events and campaigns nationwide, which is then donated to an organization or campaign of the SV’s youth committee’s choice.

Here, anything goes: balloon competitions, wafer baking, car washing, auctions or simply manual collections. Anything is possible!

Who may participate?

All children and adolescents who would like to. The contact people are the respective federal group’s head of youth, the Association’s head of youth Daniela Thoring or the coordinator of the activity and head of youth of the federal group Württemberg, Silke Breitinger.

Successful aid projects

Since the initiation of the activity “SV youth helps” in 2003 by the SV’s youth committee, more than 50.000 Euro have been collected and donated by our SV adolescents.

Suggestions for worthy fundraising campaigns can be submitted to the heads of youth of the SV federal groups. These groups then decide which organizations or projects will be supported, at the youth committee’s annual conference at the beginning of each year.
