Congratulations Real Club Español del Perro de Pastor Alemán (Real CEPPA) Spain

From November 03rd, to November 07th, 2021 WUSV Member Club Real CEPPA successfully held a super event in the true sense of the word in Lerma. History was written in the WUSV world since for the first time a country organized for both – the WUSV World Championship IP & Universal during the same week and at the same place. And not only that – also the Real CEPPA National Breed Show was held on the same occasion.

A masterpiece in terms of organization, planning and coordination! Our explicit thanks goes to Secretary General Rodrigo González Campuzano and his very special team. Their achievements were outstanding and the organization simply perfect. Nothing, really nothing was left to be desired. Participants and spectators alike as well as all functionaries and the judges enjoyed a fantastic time at the stadium of the town of Lerma with its hospitality that could be truly felt.

All WUSV international events have been great events in their very own way ever since we started in 1988 in the German town of Münster. But the event we just celebrated in Spain will be unforgettable in many ways since it was not only three events covered under one stadium roof but also the first event after the pandemic of Covid 19 brought our activities to a near standstill and required cancellations throughout the years 2020 and 2021. It was the Spanish club that mustered the courage and spirit of enterprise to organize the event even though the pandemic was far from over and at any given moment the authorities could have still cancelled the Championships in 2021, too. Therefore, the Real CEPPA deserves our special thanks and memories for decades to come.
