Teilnahmebestimmungen Allgemeines Die Bundessiegerprüfung (BSP-RH) ist ein Leistungswettbewerb für Rettungshunde im SV. Grundsätzlich sind die in der IPO-R festgelegten Bestimmungen maßgebend und ein-zuhalten. Die BSP-RH wird in den Sparten Fährte, Fläche und Trümmer ausgerichtet. Es steht dem Veranstalter frei, auch die Wasserarbeit zu integrieren. Veranstalter der BSP-RH ist der SV. Die Veranstaltung findet grundsätzlich Ende Juli statt. Teilnahmebestimmungen Zulassung Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle SV-Mitglieder mit ihren Deutschen Schäferhunden, die in das Zuchtbuch und/oder das Anhangregister des SV eingetragen sind. Für die Teilnahmeberechtigung muss jeder gemeldete Hund bei Meldeschluss eine erfolgreich unter einem SV/ IRO/ FCI-Richter abgelegte Prüfung nach IPO-R in der gemeldeten Sparte und Stufe vorweisen. Bundessieger werden können jedoch nur Teilnehmer/innen in der Stufe B. Mehrfachmeldungen (ein Rettungshundeteam in mehreren Sparten oder ein Hundeführers mit mehreren Hunden in verschiedenen Sparten) sind zur Ergänzung des Teilnehmerfeldes möglich. Entscheidend dafür ist die Meldezahl. Eine endgültige Aussage dazu ist erst nach Meldeschluss möglich. Teilnehmermeldungen aus LG-Qualifikationsprüfungen erhalten bei einer Kontingentierung den Vorrang. Die maximal zulässige Teilnehmerzahl regelt die gültige IPO-R und der zugehörige Prüfungsleitfaden (IRO) Anmeldung Die Anmeldung erfolgt über die SV-HG. Die Meldeunterlagen sind bis zum Melde-schluss (5 Wochen vor der Veranstaltung) einzureichen. Die Höhe des Startgeldes beträgt derzeit 25,- € und ist bei der Anmeldung auf die im Meldeformular angegebene Bankverbindung, zu entrichten. Teilnahme Wenn eine Prüfung wegen Verletzung oder Krankheit des Hundes abgebrochen wird, muss der Hund dem vom Veranstalter benannten Tierarzt vorgeführt werden. Wird kein tierärztliches Attest beigebracht und ist der Hund nicht offenkundig verletzt oder krank, wird der HF auf Grund unsportlichen Verhaltens disqualifiziert. Nachgewiesene tierquälerischen Handlungen oder Starkzwang können zur Disqualifikation des Teilnehmers und gegebenenfalls nachträglicher Aberkennung erreichter Prüfungsergebnisse führen. Allgemeine Informationen Alle Teilnehmer werden im Vorfeld zur Veranstaltung auf dieser Homepage veröffentlicht. Hierzu benötigen wir neben dem komplett ausgefüllten Meldeschein, den Sie in Kürze hier finden werden, ein Bild (Auflösung mind. 100 dpi). Bitte senden Sie dieses Bild per email bis spätestens Meldeschluss an bewertungen @ schaeferhunde . de Der genaue Zeitplan sowie der Programmablauf werden nach dem Meldeschluss veröffentlicht. Der Anfahrtsweg zu den verschiedenen Geländen wird am Tag der Auslosung bekannt gegeben. Die Ortsgruppe stellt für jede Sparte einen Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung. Am jeweiligen Prüfungsort ist ein Sammelparkplatz vorgesehen. Ein Lotsendienst wird die Starter direkt zum jeweiligen Gelände fahren. Bei der Anmeldung/Verlosung erhalten Sie eine Einfahrtberechtigung für das Nebengelände. Auf diesen werden Parkeinweiser eingesetzt. Auf dem Nebengelände haben alle Starter die Möglichkeit, ihren Hund ohne Ablenkung in Ruhe vorzubereiten. Tracking objects

Allgemeines Prüfungsordnung und Teilnahmevoraussetzungen Gültige FCI/WUSV-PO / IPO3, Fassung 2012. Die teilnehmenden Hunde müssen seit der vorausgegangenen WM eine IPO3 oder gleichwertige Prüfung, geführt vom gemeldeten Hundeführer, bestanden haben. Bei dieser Prüfung muss ein Gesamtergebnis von mindestens 250 Punkten, sowie in jeder Abteilung ein Ergebnis von mindestens 80 Punkten erreicht worden sein. Diese Prüfung ist bereits bei der Meldung nachzuweisen. Den Mitgliedsvereinen wird empfohlen, für das Ablegen der vorgeschriebenen FCI/WUSV-PO/IPO3 sowie für nationale Qualifikationsprüfungen nur ausreichend qualifizierte Richter einzusetzen. Nicht anerkannt werden Bewertungen von Richtern, die Mitglieder in einem vom SV-/WUSV nicht anerkannten Verein sind. Jeder Hundeführer darf bei dieser Veranstaltung nur einen Hund führen. Jeder gemeldete Hund muss über eine WUSV-anerkannte Ahnentafel verfügen. Für die WM 2016 ist der Nachweis eines entsprechenden von SV/WUSV anerkannten zuchtzulassenden HD- und ED-Befundes erforderlich. Der Nachweis ist über den Eintrag in der Ahnentafel bzw. eines entsprechenden Zertifikates zu führen. Meldeschluss: Der endgültige Meldeschluss ist festgelegt auf den 11.09.2016. Die Startnummern müssen während der Auslosung, sowie von der Anmeldung des Hundeführers zur Abt. A, B und C bis zum Abschluss der betreffenden Gruppe und während der Siegerehrung sichtbar getragen werden. Die Startnummern enthalten die Länderbezeichnung (nach olympischen Regeln) sowie die individuelle Nummer des Hundeführers innerhalb der jeweiligen Mannschaft. Mannschaftsquartiere und Hotelreservierungen Hotelbuchungen sind über den Tourismusverband und die Links auf der Website des Organisators problemlos möglich. Für spezielle Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an den Organisationsleiter. Für die teilnehmenden Hunde sind folgende Unterlagen mitzuführen: Ahnentafel Bewertungsheft (Nachweis IPO3) Gültiger europäischer Heimtier Impfpass (siehe Veterinärbestimmungen) oder Hundepass = Gesundheitsattest Nachweis über Hundehaftpflichtversicherung Tollwutimpfung Etwaige spezielle Erfordernisse für die Wiedereinfuhr des teilnehmenden Hundes in das entsendende Land stellen sie bitte rechtzeitig vor Ausreise im entsendenden Land fest. Personeneinreisebestimmungen Für Personen aus EU-Ländern ist ein gültiger Reisepass oder gültiger Personalausweis vorgeschrieben. Für Personen aus nicht EU-Ländern ist ein gültiger Reisepass vorgeschrieben. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt das im jeweiligen Land ansässige deutsche Konsulat. In Deutschland besteht Ausweispflicht. Tierschutzrechtliche Bestimmungen Aufgrund der deutschen Tierschutzgesetzgebung sowie der Beschlusslage der WUSV ist für das Ausbilden und Trainieren von Hunden außerhalb oder während der Veranstaltung verboten: * jegliche Form von Gewalt oder Aggression auszuüben * der Gebrauch von Elektroreizgeräten und deren Attrappen * der Gebrauch von Stachelhalsbändern und Krallenhalsbändern * der Einsatz von Dopingmitteln Verstöße gegen die Bestimmungen können zu einer Disqualifikation an der WUSV-WM und zu einer strafrechtlichen Verfolgung führen. Wenn der Hund im Auto oder Autoanhänger hinterlassen wird, muss der Hundehalter dafür sorgen, dass dem Hund ausreichend frische Luft und Wasser zur Verfügung stehen. Veterinärbestimmungen Die Veranstaltung wird amtstierärztlich überwacht. Um eine Starterlaubnis zu erhalten, muss jeder teilnehmende Hund vor Teilnahme am offiziellen Training und spätestens bis Montag, den 03.10.2016, 15.00 Uhr eine tierärztliche Untersuchung absolvieren. Die Tierarztkontrolle wird im Bereich des VIP – Raumes durchgeführt. Als läufig gemeldete Hündinnen müssen vom Tierarzt auf Läufigkeit untersucht werden. Im Rahmen der tierärztlichen Untersuchung hat sich jeder Hund einem Fitness-Test zu unterziehen . In diesem Zusammenhang hat der Hund einen Sprung auf einen etwa 80 cm hohen Tisch zu zeigen. Der Sprung muss ohne körperliche Unterstützung des Hundeführers gezeigt werden. Hunde, die diesen Test nicht bestehen, dürfen zum Bewerb nicht zugelassen werden. Tiere, deren gesundheitlicher Zustand es nicht erlaubt, an einem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, sind vom Oberrichter von der Veranstaltung auszuschließen. Sollte ein Tier erkennbar unter gesundheitlichen Problemen oder ganz offensichtlich unter Schmerzen leiden, muss ein Platzverweis und Ausschluss von der gesamten Veranstaltung erfolgen. Es wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass im Rahmen von WUSV-Wettbewerben die Gabe von Medikamenten zur Schmerzunterdrückung und/oder Leistungssteigerung ausdrücklich verboten ist. Sollte offensichtlich werden, dass gegen diese Vorschrift verstoßen wurde, erfolgt ebenfalls ein Ausschluss des Tieres von der Veranstaltung seitens des Oberrichters. Die Abteilungsrichter sind verpflichtet, den Oberrichter umgehend zu informieren, sobald ihnen Auffälligkeiten und/oder Unregelmäßigkeiten in der oben beschriebenen Art und Weise bekannt werden. Während der gesamten Veranstaltung steht ein Tierarzt zur Verfügung. Der Veranstalter hat das Recht, zu jeder Zeit eine Tierarztuntersuchung durchführen zu lassen, wenn die teilnehmenden Hunde Anzeichen von Schäden oder Krankheiten aufweisen. Der Tierarztbescheid gilt zu jeder Zeit. Die genauen Impfbestimmungen sind auf der Homepage des Veranstalters nachzulesen. Arzt / Zahnarztbesuche Auslandskrankenscheine der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherungsanstalten oder Ersatzkassen werden teilweise anerkannt. Vorteilhaft ist es auf jeden Fall eine private Krankenversicherung für die Zeitdauer des Aufenthaltes in Deutschland abzuschließen. Das Organisationsbüro kann über die nächstliegenden Arzt- und Zahnarztpraxen, Unfallkliniken auch Tierarztpraxen oder Tierkliniken informieren. Restaurantbesuche Bei größeren Gesellschaften ist es zweckmäßig, in Speiserestaurants eine Tischreservierung rechtzeitig vorzunehmen. Menü- und Getränkekarten liegen in vielen Restaurants in deutscher und englischer Sprache vor. Preise (Essen und Trinken), auch Hotelfrühstück sind immer inklusive Steuern. In der Regel ist es jedoch üblich, bei sehr guter Serviceleistung einen kleinen zusätzlichen freiwilligen Beitrag der Rechnungssumme zu entrichten. Kreditkartenzahlungen mit den gängigen Kreditkarten sind in den meisten Hotels und Restaurants möglich. Straßenverkehr In Deutschland gilt „Rechtsverkehr“. Bitte beachten sie, dass die deutsche Polizei sehr auf folgende Dinge achtet: dass alle Insassen angeschnallt sind dass das absolute Handy-Verbot für den Fahrer eingehalten wird dass strenge Alkoholkontrollen durchgeführt werden! Grenzwerte werden genau eingehalten, auch Ausländern wird der Führerschein bei Überschreitung rigoros abgenommen. Benzinpreise Abhängig von Gesellschaft und dem aktuellen Ölpreisniveau. Zahlungsweise in Deutschland Die Landeswährung ist Euro. Geldwechsel von einer ausländischen Währung in EURO ist in allen Banken während der Geschäftszeiten sowie in Wechselstuben an den Flughäfen möglich. Devisentausch in Hotels ist eher nicht zu empfehlen. Die sicherste Möglichkeit bieten Kreditkarten der gängigen Gesellschaften (VISA, Mastercard, etc.). Beim Anmieten eines Mietfahrzeuges ist der Besitz einer Kreditkarte unerlässlich. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit mit Code bei Bargeldautomaten Geld abzuheben.

Invited participants: The same persons as invited to the meeting of judges Team leaders and vice team leaders Points of discussion: Information regarding the event Advice from the organizers Information about the tracking field, given by the track supervisor Presentation of the judges Guidelines of the judging by the head judge Guidelines to performing the individual disciplines Confirmation of the participants, possible substitute dogs, information on females in heat Drawing of the order in which the countries draw the start times In case dogs/dog handlers are reported as diseased or absent their starting numbers (which have been given out by registration) have to be given back necessarily. Training possibilities at the stadium Training at the stadium is on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4, 2016, starting at 7.00 a.m., according to training schedule. The amount of time depends on the team and number of team members. For training at the stadium are only the participants and relevant helpers allowed. At the stadium are blinds, jump- and A-hurdle, as well as retrieve articles. The time allowed for training is 5 minutes/dog participating. But at least 10 minutes/team. The training order is alphabetical according to the Olympic system. The training is supervised by the organizers. If a team does not attend at their given time, they may train at the end of the training session. Females in heat are not allowed for training. They will have their training time just before their start in section B. There will be additional training possibilities in specified training centers. The persons allowed are only the team members, team leaders and additional help persons of the teams. Blinds and hurdles are available at these places. More information is available at the office. Presentation of protection work The demonstration of protection is on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 2 p.m. at the stadium. There the helpers will be introduced. Present will be the head judge, judge for section C, head organizer, trial organzier section C, as well as the helpers. At least 4 dogs with a good LGA level are to be presented. Opening ceremony The opening ceremony is on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the marquee at the Stadium. The opening speech will be held by the President of the WUSV. Drawing of the start numbers The drawing of the individual starting numbers will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in the marquee at the stadium. For the teams and team members are the seats reserved. For spectators is enough space. A good catering will be provided at the hospitality tent. Team support Team leaders may address their questions and problems to the organizers. The organizer tries to give a care taker for each team. The dog handlers will be given parking permissions at the team leader meeting. The dog handler must enter the license plate number of the car, as well as mobile telephone number on the parking permission. First aid and veterinary services First aid and veterinary services are available at the stadium during the complete competition. At the tracking fields a mobile first aid service is available if needed. Identity control of the dogs The identity control of the dog is always after each discipline has been finished at the dog handlers exit at the stadium as well as in the tracking field by the judge/representative of organizer. The controllers have an ISO standard approved microchip reading device. If for some reason another type of chip is planted, then the team leader must bring the appropriate device with him/her.  Catering at the Stadium and tracking field There are catering services at the stadium and also in the tracking fields. Also drinking spots are available for the dogs. The stadium The stadium is the Hänsch-arena, in Meppen. The driving directions are clearly marked from the motorway. The stadium is an open football stadium without athletic running tracks. There are two grandstands for spectators. The main grandstand in longitudinal direction to the greenfield and the secondary grandstand is vis-à-vis. The number of covered seats is about 5000. Indoor rooms for the trial organizers are sufficiently available. The stadium has a TV-quality floodlighting system. Obedience and protection work will be alternated at the stadium. By constant rain the devices for obedience and blinds for the protection have to be changed when needed. Parking space for participants and team leaders are sufficiently available about 250 meters from the Stadium. Schedule The schedule has been prepared so, that each dog does only one discipline in one day. At the stadium the groups of 6 for obedience and protection work will be alternated. Participants that do not report 15 minutes before the beginning of their discipline will be disqualified. All dog handlers will be given a schedule. Disqualification If a dog is disqualified in one discipline, then the dog cannot start in the other remaining disciplines.

Section "A" - Tracking Tracking field The tracking work will be performed on fields (acres). For all participants the terrain should be equal. Each field will be used only once. The tracking fields are in a wide agricultural and military used terrain about 10 km from the stadium. The quality of the tracking field will be published on the WUSV website in the time frame. Laying of the tracks The laying of tracks is done in normal walk. The corners will not be marked. The start of the track is not heavily tread. Replacement tracks will be layed. The articles will not be put down in any given sequence. Articles on track The objects are made of Leather Wood Carpet and they are presented on the website of the event. The objects are from the Schweikert Company. The signpost and articles will be provided by the organizers. Sending of articles before the event to teams is not intended. Tracking pattern and length According to regulations of IPO the track is 600 paces and will be adhered. Shortening of the tracks is not intended. The persons laying the tracks will be supervised by the person responsible for the tracks. The tracking patterns will vary according to the IPO regulations. If the terrain allows, the first article will be put down about 100 paces on the first leg. If the former is not possible, will the first article lay on the second leg. Transportation to the tracking fields The chosen tracking fields are about 10 km from the stadium. The participants will drive with their own vehicles. The team leader will be given a map to the central meeting point by the fields. There the dogs can be walked. Refreshments for the dog leaders are available. The spectators will be transported to the tracking fields by bus. Driving directions for spectators from the stadium are not intended. The tracking fields can not be used for training. Breaking of the rules will result in disqualification. The organizers will provide equal terrain for training. Identity control, test for self-confidence and drawing of the tracking group at the field When the dog handler reports to the judge for tracking, a behavior test of the dog is done and the tracking sequence is drawn. If a handler is not at the drawing or start time of his/her tracking, they will be drawn with others. The drawn track will stay in reserve and will be tracked at a later time. If the missing dog handler hasn’t arrived by the time his/her tracking group has finished all tracks, then the dog will be disqualified. The identity control will be checked after the dog has finished tracking. Control of the tracking leash After the drawing of the tracks, the tracking line is controlled for correct length and the line is marked. The tracking can be performed with a such marked tracking line.

Schedule and activities The WUSV World Championship 2016 takes part from October 5 to October 9, 2016 in Meppen, Germany, in the Hänsch-arena. The schedule is as follows: Arrival of the teams The latest date of arrival for participants is Sunday, October 2, 2016. On arrival the scorebooks have to be handed over at the information office (VIP lounge) of the stadium (Sunday, 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.). At the same time the team members will be given: starting numbers catalogue schedule of training in the stadium other relevant information Each country will bring one national flag to be carried and their national anthem on CD. The CD with the national anthem will be handed over at the stadium by arrival. Training possibilities in the stadium 1st training day: Monday, October 3, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 2nd training day: Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 12 The current version of the schedule can be seen on the World championship webpage. Opening ceremony of the world Championship Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the marquee in the stadium. All participants have to attend. Judges seminar A special seminar will be held only for the judges of the World Championships 2016 and 2017 on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12. From 7.30 a.m. tracking There is a bus transportation for spectators to the tracking field. Start of the competition section B and C Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 6 a.m. at the stadium Festive evening Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 8 p.m. at the marquee at the stadium. Lunch coupons for the buffet are only available in Mepen at the registration desk and at the SV office. Award ceremony and closing ceremony Sunday, October 9, 2016 about 4 p.m. at the stadium. The 10 best single competitors and the best 3 teams will be awarded. All participants must attend the award ceremony, if possible with dog. Team leader debriefing Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. Location: VIP lounge in the stadium.

Section "C" - Protection works General The protection work will be performed at the stadium in alternative sequence with obedience. The working direction is when looking from the main grandstand from left to right. The first sendoff to blinds is left. The starting point for handler and helper are marked. The helpers will work according to instructions given at the presentation of the protection work. The dog handler can wear light sportive clothing, but not a special training vest. Please note the IPO rules: After the release through the judge the dog handler removes on command 5 steps from the standing helper with the dog off the leash, takes the basic position, puts the dog on leash and leads him (under control) to the meeting point. Entry control The dog handler must be ready for his/her exercise about 15 minutes before given time according to schedule. The dog handler will be presented to the control by team leader or team leader assistant. The dog’s collar will be controlled. If a dog handler is not 15 minutes for his/her start time at the control point, the dog will be disqualified. The chip number or tattoo will be controlled after the performance at the handlers exit. Helper in protection work The helpers and their substitutes are to be chosen on Tuesday at the demonstration of section C protection work. They will be chosen by Head Judge and the judge for this section. For the movements of the helpers please see on the webpage. All the helpers will work left. It is not allowed for competition helpers to train the dogs starting at this competition. This does not apply to the participants of the host country. By any violations the helpers will be replaced. Protection clothing The protective clothing of the helpers are normal at stores procurable protective clothing; a jacket, trousers, arm and cleat shoes (football shoes). Softstocks will be used. The equipment will be from the Schweikert Company. (Arm type 598003 – Mika 1 – left, coating material5987) Protection blinds The protection blinds will be normal blind tents, color green (Schweikert). Marker points will be placed according to the IPO. The blinds will be removed for obedience, places marked.

Section "B" - Obedience General The obedience will be alternated with the protection work at the stadium. The stadium terrain is grass. The working direction is when looking from the main grandstand from right to left. The obedience will not be demonstrated. The dog handlers may wear normal sportive clothing, no special training vests are allowed. Entry control The dog handler must be ready for his/her exercise about 15 minutes before given time according to schedule. The dog handler will be presented to the control by team leader or team leader assistant at the dog handlers entry. The dog’s collar will be controlled. If a dog handler is not 15 minutes for his/her start time at the control point, the dog will be disqualified. The chip number or tattoo will be controlled after the performance at the handlers exit. Hurdles / dumpbells / guns According to IPO-rules a closed plankhurdle is to be used, and a reserve hurdle to stand by. The A-wall is to be covered by non-slippery material and spokes. The measurements are according to valid regulations. The hurdles must be removed from the field during the protection work, their placements to be marked beforehand. The sequence of the hurdles according to the attached diagram . The hurdles are also available at the training grounds. The retrieving dumbbells must be double, two identical sets. Measurements and weights are according to rules. Additional weights are not allowed. Weight of dumbbell for retrieving on flat ground: 2000 g Weight of dumbbell for the hurdles: 650 g The dumbbells provided by the organizers must be used by all participants. The dog handlers own dumbbells are not allowed. All retrieve exercises must be performed in the same direction as the other obedience exercises. The organizer has to provide 2 pistols cal. 6. The trying shot will take place on the first lane. Place for down Males and females will be laid down on separate places. The places for down will be marked.

Protection work General The protection work will take place on the sports ground. The running direction is from the right to the left seen from the grandstand. The first send out at the patrol goes to the right. The required markings for handler and helper will be made according to the IPO regulation. The selection of the helpers and the protection work training will be held according to the schedule. The dog handler can wear light sportive clothing, but not a special training vest. Security check entrance About 15 minutes before the planned starting time of a team the team leader has to report at the security check point (handler’s entrance) that the team is ready to start. Following the collars will be controlled. In case a handler is not present at least 15 minutes before the start he will be disqualified. The identity will be controlled after the presentation at the handler’s exit. Protection work helpers The helpers who will be assigned and the substitute helpers will be selected from the head judge and the judge of section C. The helpers have to use the protection clothing, sleeve and trousers. Protection clothing The protection clothing of the helpers is jacket, trousers and sleeve. Outfitter is the Schweikert Company. Hiding places for protection work The hiding places are standard protection work tents. They will be removed from the performance ground during the obedience, their placing is marked.

Conformation show The 6th WUSV Universal Sieger will be judged in the classes „males“ and „females“. Dogs with Longstockhair will be judged in the class of the stockhair dogs. The judgement of the dogs in show stance will be held on the area beside; it has to be completed 30 minutes before the judgement of the dogs in motion. The judgement of the dogs in motion is planned in the main stadium. When females in heat take part the judgement of dogs in show stance and movement females takes part on the premises of the local group Schloss Neuhaus, Hatzfeldstr. 160, 33104 Paderborn.

Admission regulations / Information for participants Trial regulations and registration The 6th WUSV-Universal Sieger competition takes place according to the currently valid rules of the WUSV. For the 6th WUSV-Universal Sieger Competition only dogs which have been selected by their national clubs are admitted. Furthermore, the dogs must have earned an IPO3 title according to the WUSV trial regulations, they must have received a show rating of at least „good“ at a minimum age of 12 months and their pedigree must show the HD/ED „a“ stamp. The winners of last year(male and female) are automatically qualified for this year’s WUSV Universal Sieger Competition and can by their national club be added to the team. In this competition each handler is allowed to lead one dog only. Deadline for Inscriptions The final deadline for the registration is May 22, 2016. The entry form can directly be completed and printed on the SV website as of April 1, 2016. Each field of the inscription form needs to be completed. The complete team can be enrolled only by the national club. The inscription needs to be submitted together with a copy of the pedigree with the HD/ED stamp, with a copy of the score book and the copy of a show card with a minimum rating of “good”, earned at a minimum age of 12 months. Furthermore, along with the entry form a copy of the liability insurance for pet owners has to be submitted. Should the dog not be insured, please inform the organizer with submitting the entry form. The organizer will contract a temporary insurance that is limited to the duration of the championship. Entry fee The entry fee is € 140,00 per dog and has to be transferred on the following transaction account: IBAN DE 07 7205 0000 0810 2000 30 BIC AUGSDE77XXX Reason for payment: Entry WUSV Universal Documents for the participating dogs (needs to be available for presentation at all times) - Original pedigree - Score book - Show rating card - Valid international vaccination report (valid anti-rabies inoculation) - Proof of the liability insurance for pet owners Entry requirements Citizens from EU countries can enter with a valid passport or the identification card of their country. Citizens from non-EU-countries need a valid passport for the entry. Further information can be given from the German embassy or the German consulate in the respective country. Regulations of Animal Protection Law Veterinary regulations for entry with dogs from EU countries: Dogs participating at the championship must verifiably have been vaccinated against rabies at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the event. After that, they must have gotten the booster inoculation during the period of time as indicated by the producer of the vaccine (following WHO standards). This needs to be confirmed on the vaccination ID. The expiry date of the vaccine must clearly be stated in the vaccination ID. If the expiry date is not stated the boost inoculation must have been administered within the past 12 months. This vaccination must be proved by a veterinary certificate (EU Vaccination ID) where the following information must be provided: Name and address of the holder, Breed and sex of the animal Marking of the animal (readable tattoo, as of July 1st 2011 the marking with microchip is obligatory, ISO-Norm 11784 or 11785) Date of the vaccination, as well as type, producer and control number of the vaccine which has been used. Information about the duration of immunization According to the German Protection of Animals act as well as to the WUSV resolution it is prohibited, while training or exercising dogs, outside of or during the event: * to practice any kind of violence or aggression * to use electrical stimulation device or dummies * to use pinch collars and coral collars * to use drugs Contravention can lead to a disqualification from the competition and to criminal prosecution. When the dog is left in the car or in the trailer the dog handler has to take care that the dog is sufficiently provided with fresh air and water. In the frame of the basic examination a physical fitness test for the dogs will be held. At this short test the dog has to complete a jump on a table (height 80 cm). The jump has to be shown without physical support of the handler. Dogs which can’t perform this jump are not permitted to take part in the competition. When the dog’s state of health doesn’t allow to take part in a competition the dog has to be suspended from the event by the head judge. In case an animal suffers from health problems or obviously from pain a dismissal and the disqualification from the complete event has to follow. It is explicitly to point out that in the frame of WUSV competitions it is prohibited specifically to give pharmaceuticals in order to suppress pain and/or to improve performance. In case it will become clear that this rule has been violated the disqualification of the dog by the head judge has to follow as well. The judges of the sections are obliged to inform the head judge immediately once they get knowledge of such noticeable problems or irregularities. Training possibilities in the stadium On Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Training schedule The time unit depends on the contingent that each team presents. The access to the area during the training session is only allowed to the dog handlers and their helpers. In this area hiding places, hurdles, jump obstacles and dummies are available. Each participant is granted 5 minutes for training, however, at least 10 minutes. The training order follows the alphabetic order of the IOC country codes. The training is controlled by the organizer. If a team fails to be present at the given starting time, they can be given a chance for training at the end of the training session. Females in heat are excluded from the training. They will have their training possibility directly before their start in section B. Further possibilities for training and preparation are available on a training ground in the Paderborn surrounding area. Defense work practice The practice for defense work will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at approx 4.30 p.m. at the sports ground. Also, the official helpers will be introduced. Opening ceremony and drawing The opening ceremony and the drawing will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the festival hall of Neuhaus palace. Emergency medical service and Veterinary emergency service In case of injuries or disease emergency medical service is available in the city. During the complete event a veterinary is on call. Identity check The identity of the participating dogs will be checked after the presentation in each discipline at the dog handler’s exit of the sports ground as well as in the tracking field by the judge respectively the commissioner as authorized by the organizer. The staff is equipped with ISO approved microchip identification scanners. Catering at the sports ground and in the tracking field Catering in the sports ground is guaranteed. In the tracking field a mobile delivery service will provide the visitors with snacks and beverage. Disqualification When a dog is disqualified in one section he may no longer start in the following sections.
