The „Orthopedic Foundation for Animals“ (OFA) is a private foundation with head office in Columbia, Missouri/USA which occupies itself mainly with the investigation and prevention of hereditary diseases of pets.

Originally founded for the investigation of hip dysplasia, the OFA nowadays maintains a series of central databases for dogs of all breeds with a wide range of diseases, such as f. ex. elbow dysplasia, patellar luxation and others.
